1. Purpose:

The Glowing Home Code of Conduct is designed to ensure a positive and respectful environment for all individuals involved in our non-profit organization. This policy outlines the expected behavior and standards of conduct for staff, volunteers, clients, and anyone associated with Glowing Home.

2. Respect and Inclusion:

At Glowing Home, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and respectful community. All individuals associated with Glowing Home, regardless of their role, are expected to treat each other with dignity, kindness, and respect, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other characteristic.

 3. Professionalism:

All staff and volunteers of Glowing Home are expected to maintain a high level of professionalism in their interactions with colleagues, clients, and the public. This includes punctuality, effective communication, and a commitment to the goals and values of Glowing Home.

 4. Confidentiality:

Respecting the privacy and confidentiality of our clients and colleagues is paramount. All individuals associated with Glowing Home must adhere to strict confidentiality standards, refraining from disclosing sensitive information without proper authorization. Staff, volunteers, or affiliates of Glowing Home shall not return the residents home outside of a project timeline or during a time during which the project is in progress and outside of the volunteer window. Harassment to any recipient of Glowing Home may result in legal action or criminal charges.

 5. Non-Discrimination:

Glowing Home is committed to providing services without discrimination. Any form of discrimination, harassment, or prejudice based on race, gender, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic will not be tolerated.

  6. Integrity and Honesty:

Integrity and honesty are foundational to our mission. All staff and volunteers are expected to act with honesty and integrity in all dealings, providing accurate information and conducting themselves ethically at all times.

 7. Conflict of Interest:

Any potential or actual conflict of interest must be disclosed promptly. Individuals associated with Glowing Home should avoid situations where personal interests may compromise the organization's mission, values, or the best interests of our clients.

 8. Compliance with Laws and Regulations:

All individuals associated with Glowing Home must comply with all applicable laws and regulations. This includes local, state, and federal laws governing our operations, as well as any relevant professional standards.

 9. Reporting Violations:

If you become aware of a violation of this Code of Conduct, you are encouraged to report it promptly to a supervisor, manager, or the designated point of contact. Glowing Home is committed to investigating and addressing reported violations promptly and confidentially.

 10. Consequences of Violations:

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment, volunteer status, or criminal charges. Glowing Home reserves the right to take appropriate action based on the severity and nature of the violation.

By being associated with Glowing Home, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by this Code of Conduct.

 This Code of Conduct is subject to periodic review and may be updated as needed. Changes will be communicated to all relevant parties.
